Kerala Beef Curry

Beef (Min 70%), Feesh Vegetables (Onion, Ginger and Garlic), Olive Oil, Spices and Herbs


  1. Preheat oven to 150 degree celcius

  2. Place curry in a lidded stove-to-oven dish on medium to high heat and brown on stove.

  3. Add either a tin of coconut cream or coconut milk or tin of chopped tomatoes, and stir into Kerala Beef Curry.

  4. Bring to the boil, and put lid on top of dish.

  5. Place in oven for 2-2.5 hours.Stir before serving

  6. Serve a top basmati rice (optional), with a good spoonful of mango chutney (optional)

    NB: For those who want to add additional cooking time, and prefer it even more tender, this dish can be cooked at 110 degree celcius, or on low in a slow cooker (must be browned first) for 5 hours.

    For a Shabbat lunch alternative, brown meat then place in oven at 90 degree celcius late Friday afternoon.
