Hungarian Veal and Paprika Stew


Veal (Min 65%), Fresh Vegetables ( Onion and Capsicum ), Olive oil, Paprika and Black Pepper.


You will need to:

  • One tray of CKB Hungarian Veal and Paprika Stew

  • 1/4 cup of stock

  • 1 x 400gm tin of chopped tomatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees celcius

  2. Place Hungarian Veal and Paprika Stew mixture into a lidded stove-to-oven dish on medium to high heat, and brown ( a tagine or cast iron dish works well )

  3. Add 1/4 cup stock and tin of chopped tomatoes and stir into Hungarian Veal and Paprika Stew

  4. Bring to the boil and put lid on top of the dish

  5. Place in oven for 2-2.5 hours. Stir before serving and enjoy!

Optional Extras: Stir in a jar of sauerkraut at the same time as adding chopping tomatoes. Spoon a generous serving of better than sour cream atop the hungarian Veal and Paprika stew for a tradtional, creamy taste
